The aim of the South African Society for Enology and Viticulture is to serve as a forum for making the latest relevant scientific knowledge available to all South African wine and grape producers; optimizing the quality of S.A. grapes, wines and related products constantly and distributing this technology internationally.
Herewith the details regarding membership of the Society. The financial year is from 1 July of any year to 30 June of the following year. As a member you will receive three Newsletters as well as a discount on all SASEV Symposia and Conferences.
Should you wish to become a member, please complete the Application Form and fax or mail it back to our office as soon as possible or alternatively apply online. Your application will be assessed at the next Board Meeting. You may not take-over another persons membership as each person is assessed on their individual merit. Only individual membership is granted, with no limit on the number of people from a specific company. Please note that your Proposer and Seconder should be members of our Society and must sign your form.
You will be informed of your membership-status in writing. On receipt of your Entry fee (R200.00) and Membership fee R450.00 or R800.00 (includes 2 hard copies of the Journal per annum), you will be registered as a member of the Society. An entry fee is to be paid only during the first year of membership. Your Membership Certificate will be sent to you in due course.
