43rd SASEV CONFERENCE ‘HOMEGROWN KNOWLEDGE, EXPLORING THE IMPACT OF LOCAL RESEARCH ON A GLOBAL SCALE.’
The Organizing committee of the 43rd SASEV Conference presented this conference event on 13 & 14 September 2023 at Klein Joostenberg, Stellenbosch, South Africa. The conference had the theme “Homegrown Knowledge: Exploring the Impact of Local Research on a Global Scale” and showcased the latest research and innovations in the fields of grapevine and wine sciences, sensory and consumer sciences and market-related knowledge. Delegates were enlightened by the latest knowledge and impressed with the world-class presentations positioning our South African research community as thought leaders with global impact. SASEV (South African Society For Enology & Viticulture) serves as a forum for presenting the latest technical and scientific information to all South African wine and grape producers to improve the quality of South African table grapes, drying grapes, wines and related products.
